Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 2

Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 2 (or SC Guitar Maniac Dx 2) is the sequel to Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe. This game first introduces Star Points, along with gameplay improvements. There are total of 14 playable songs (16 before an update). An update removed 2 Songs from the game, but it also erased all progress. The 2 removed songs were by quinnZX, and the removed songs' names were Don't want it to end and Dying for you. Those songs were removed due to being illegally downloaded to Newgrounds, which reduced the amount of Amateur songs to 8.

Changes and new features from the previous game[]

Players can choose a guitar of their choice

  • There are total of 6 different guitars
    • 2 of them are unlocked at the beginning
    • The rest of the 4 are locked and can only be unlocked by achieving certain condition.
  • Excluding the first 2 gutiars, exclusive to this game in the series, each guitar has its own effect for every command hit at the correct rhythm

More songs are available to play

  • Only songs that are unlocked at the beginning are only in either amateur or pro
  • The locked songs contain both amateur and pro, just like the previous iteration

The game modes are replaced by a difficulty setting

  • Amateur difficulty is easy and Pro (short for Professional) difficulty is hard
  • For both difficulty, each mistake drops a rating, not resets a rating.

While the gameplay remains mostly the same, its game screen layout was given some major changes

  • There are total of 7 different commands
    • 4 (single) commands (which are arrow keys) and 2 hold commands ("A" key and "S" key) return
    • A hold command "D" key is added
  • The single commands "up and right arrows" are displayed on the top side of the fret board
  • The single commands "left and down arrows" are displayed on the bottom side of the fret board
  • The hold commands A and S and D are each displayed on the top (above up and right commands) and middle (between "up and right" & "left and down" commands) and bottom (below left and down commands)
  • Players can toggle whether to turn off or on a Voice
    • Voice is a feature where a computer speaks out everytime the player reaches certain multiplier
  • The command area remains the same during the whole gameplay regardless of the multiplier change or number of mistakes
  • The x10 multiplier "Godly!!" only features in a Pro difficulty

Everytime players finish the song and achieve certain points for each song, Star Points are rewarded
